Our Guest Speaker
Our speaker is W. Jeff Bishop, Director of Funk Heritage Center. Jeff has written several books about important Native American sites in Georgia as well as a book on the Trail of Tears. Jeff will be speaking to us about the local Native Americans and their relationship with the Etowah.
About the The Upper Etowah River Alliance
The Upper Etowah River Alliance (UERA) is a community-based watershed protection group that works in the Etowah basin upstream of Lake Allatoona.
Our mission is education, especially focusing on water quality and nonpoint source pollution. We accomplish this mission through workshops, presentations, brochures and on the ground demonstration projects.
Join us for a night of food, fun, awards, and a silent auction!
