Our Guest Speaker
Veterans Fly Fishing (VFF) has agreed to speak at the 2025 annual meeting. Learn more about the VFF by visiting their website at https://veteransflyfishing.org/about/.
The non-profit organization provides fly fishing opportunities on the Upper Etowah River on Montaluce Winery property in Dahlonega.
VFF stocks and cares for the fish. It is a barbless catch and release fishery. They have numerous beautiful pictures of the river, the fish, and smiles of people fishing. They often take disabled veterans into the river who would not otherwise have the opportunity to fish.
The speaker will be either Dr. John Mauldin/Brian Wildeman, both on the Board of Directors, Learn more about them at https://veteransflyfishing.org/board-of-directors/.
About the The Upper Etowah River Alliance
The Upper Etowah River Alliance (UERA) is a community-based watershed protection group that works in the Etowah basin upstream of Lake Allatoona.
Our mission is education, especially focusing on water quality and nonpoint source pollution. We accomplish this mission through workshops, presentations, brochures and on the ground demonstration projects.
Join us for a night of food, fun, awards, and a silent auction!
